The Zimmulator is here to help. Use the text and
picture tools below to add your logo, picture, and information to the edit
area. Don’t forget to try out the all the tools available, explore
around, make the perfect design. We have made it so easy to get great
results; you would be crazy not to jump right in!
Double click on the area of the item you want to edit.
Highlight and delete the sample text. You can either delete the text line by line or just remember what the text was designed to say. Make sure all spelling, grammar, and punctuation is correct on the item.
Use the drop down menus in the tool bar to change font, color, size, and orientation of the text.
Click ok.
Create a new box by clicking the text box in the tool bar and drag it in position (used mainly in the start from scratch items).
If you would like to simply remove the sample logo, click the empty button.
If you would like to upload your logo, click the upload button then find your file on your computer, and click upload. (please make sure the image is 300dpi and in the JPG, EPS or TIF format)
If the picture isn’t perfectly orientated in the box, click edit to make adjustments.
Create a new box by clicking the new picture box in the tool bar and drag it into position (used mainly in the start from scratch items).
Use the Page box to toggle between the front and back side of your item (if gray, a back doesn’t exist)
If you are happy with your design, click-add to cart below the tool bar on the left and you’re done!
This button creates a new text box. Once a box is created resize it using the corner drag boxes.
This button creates a new picture box. Once the box is created the user can resize it and change the photo/logo characteristics by single clicking and selecting edit.
This button deletes an existing box. Single click on the box and then hit the button to delete a box.
This box toggles from the front to the back of an item. If it is gray, no backside exist.
This is the advanced edit box. Single click on any editing box and then this button. Inside you will find the tools to create drop shadows, rounded corners, borders, shading, opacity, and many other useful tools for more advanced users.
This is the photo/logo edit button. It is used to make advanced edits to the picture/logos
Layering: It is possible in the Zimmulator to layer pictures to create rich, dynamic color products with background pictures, text and picture overlays, and borders. The tools found in the advanced edit box can help you to edit the perfect item, no matter how complicated it may be. This is a perfect tool for both designers and end customers to design the perfect product fast and easy. **note when layering to upload layers bottom to top.
